Therapy for Women and Moms in Every Phase of Life

Women are supposed to have it ALL figured out, like yesterday, without asking for an ounce of help. We are supposed to work the right amount, take care of the house, take care of the family, and find time to care for ourselves. It's a lot, all the time, coming at you like a freight train. I get it and you do not need to do it alone.

As we grow older childhood patterns start to show up. They start slowly creeping in in ways we couldn't imagine. They show up with your partner, with your kids, and even with your boss. You probably are not aware these are patterns that have been serving you since you were little. Yes serving, but not anymore they are depleting your brightness you once had. Your low self esteem makes you say " yes" when you want to say "no."  You lay in bed overthinking everything you said in the pickup line and wondering if you are crazy. You find your tolerance for your kids and partner to be at an ultimate low. You literally feel like you are running on empty.

My Specialties:

I am a woman in her 30's or 40's and adulting is harder than I imagined

All the sudden you hit this point in life and wondered what am I doing? You feel burnt out, ready for a career change and trying to navigate your current relationship. Oh and wait, imposter syndrome? Where did that come from. Old patterns are showing up, you have lost the things that used to light you up. This is a really common experience when we get to this point in life. You don't need to do it alone!

I am a new mom or veteran mom and feel like I have lost a part of myself

It is super common for new moms and old moms to go through periods of disconnect within themselves and in their partnerships. The mental load of mothering is so much to carry. We can find those moments of joy and pleasure and even do it  guilt free!  This is extra challenging for us if we did not have a mom that cared for herself. I am here to help you find the parts of you that are lost, you don't need to do one more thing alone.

I have experienced a trauma and want to
move forward in life

We all go through overwhelming experinces in life. That is part of the human experince. If you felt overwhelmed, out of control AND alone you may have experienca trauma. If it was an old experience or new experience and it is creeping into your daily life I want to help you move with it. I use evidenced based practices to integrate the trauma into your life.

I have unresolved feelings about my parents or caregivers and cannot put my finger on why

One of the hardest parts of adulting and parenting is not having a sturdy leader or guide. If we had caregivers who were dismissive, preoccupied, critical, or fearful it could be harder to do life. This can leave you feeling misunderstood and with unexplained experiences. Learning about grief and what you missed can be a beautiful and honoring experience for the self.
